Russian phone maker Yotaphone was in the news
recently for making the World first dual screen phone with HD e-link display,
now China’s Hisense has followed suit with the unveiling of a device with
similar dual display.
Dubbed the Hisense A2 pro, the device is successor
and a more capable variant the of Hisense 2 which has been in the market for
sometimes now. Unfortunately, the device is not another bezel free phone, but
only famous for its dual display as there a chunks of bezels at the top and
chin of the device.
The major highlight and probably its major selling
point is the presence of a dual display-one at the rear and another upfront. At
the rear, the Hisense A2 pro packs a FHD AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass
and on the reverse side an e-lnk display suitable for reading display
notifications and house widgets.
Talking of display size, the Hisense A2 pro comes
with a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED display with a 401ppi pixel density and a 5.2-inch
e-ink rear display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels 211ppi pixel density.
Under the hood, the Hisense A2 Pro is packed with a
powerful 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor SoC with Adreno 506
GPU,4GB of RAM and a spacious native storage of 64GB of storage. The rear
camera functions are handled by a 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor with LED flash while
a 16MP front sensor with LED flash takes charge of selfies and video chats.
The Hisense A2 pro IS equipped with an IR blaster,
so it can control your home appliances, and similar to some devices from Sony,
the Hisense A2 pro got a fingerprint sensor mounted at the side and it is
lighted by a 3,090 mAh non removable battery. The Android 7.1.2 Nougat powered
device supports dual SIM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port
and 4G LTE.
