Rather than a phone, you might want a tablet – the
T20 is an 8” tablet that runs Windows 10 and is fairly tough. It can fall from
1.8m or dive to 1m for 30 minutes (IP67). It’s vibration-proof and resistant to
salt spray.
The Cat T20 has a 1,280 x 800px IPS screen and is
powered by an Intel Atom Z8350 chipset. The RAM is surprisingly limited – 2GB –
and you only get 64GB storage. On the up side, the tablet has a built-in LTE
modem (Cat. 4) and a GPS/GLONASS receiver. The T20 will launch later on for
€ 650/£ 600.
