Since the dawn of time or rather since the first
arrival of the smartwatch models existed the big question about it. Should it
be just a notification monster tied to the connected smartphone or should the
watches be independent devices capable of existing fully outside the direct
smartphone control ? Different manufacturers have different ideas and now even
the AllCall newcomer company will be
contributing to the discussion with new smartwatch model.
Their freshly confirmed AllCall W1 smartwatch model
is definitely going the “independence is key” route, because it’s built rather
like a phone than a watch. At least the hardware inside looks like it, because
it’s going to be sporting the MT6580 processor, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal
storage. That means still only 3G data available.
Rest of the specs include 1.39-inch circular AMOLED
display, Bluetooth 4.0, single nano SIM card slot and Android 5.1 as the OS.
From the pictures it looks like pretty conservative tradional watch design and
metal build all the way. And if im seeing correctly there is also a heart rate
monitor sensor in the back.
First ever smartwatch model from the AllCall company
the AllCall W1 will be launched exclusively on Gearbest pretty soon and there
is already a product page to be found. We shall if the price will stay the
same, because currently it’s listed at fairly optimistic US$ 122.93.
