Action camera specialists, SJCAM, are rumoured to be
working on an all new sports camera model with updated 4K features and dual
displays.
SJCAM has quickly become one of the go-to brands for
anyone who is serious about recording high-quality video of their outdoor
antics. The company has been in the game for years and knows how to make a
quality and highly functional sports camera, and now with all their experience,
they are working on something new.
While we haven’t heard from SJCAM themselves about
the SJ8 we have learned that the new camera is set to become official in
October, and according to tech site Posh Gadgets the camera will come with
features users have long been wishing for.
According to the leaks, the SJCAM SJ8 will see a
boost in video performance and will natively support 4K video recording at
60FPS! What’s more, the camera is said to come with dual touch screens (a rear
2.33in panel with a 0.96in panel on the front)
It’s also been touched on that the SJ8 may also come
with GPS, EIS and could also have a PiP (picture in picture) option which hints
at some serious processing power. Live streaming to popular social media
accounts, voice control and slow motion features are mentioned in the wishlist
too.
