Samsung officially introduced a gadget called
Leader 8 with the code number SM-G9298. The case of the device is made of
aviation aluminum, and on both sides of the clamshell there are 4.2-inch Full
HD-displays, made using Super AMOLED technology. Meanwhile, the characteristics
of Leader 8 were weaker than expected.
The company decided to install the device last
year's Snapdragon 821 paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage with support
for microSD. Let's remind, the previous leak told about 6 GB of RAM. Leader 8
is equipped with a main camera with a resolution of 12 megapixels and aperture
f / 1.7, as well as a front camera with 5 megapixels with f / 1.9. Dimensions
of the device are 130.2 x 62.6 x 15.9 mm with a weight of 235 grams. Samsung
fit in the smartphone battery capacity of 2 300 mAh with support for wireless
charging.
Like other devices of the company, Leader 8 works
with Samsung Pay, Secure Folder, S Voice and has a multifunction button.
Nevertheless, the new version does not support the voice assistant Bixby.
Samsung Leader 8 will appear in China exclusively for operator China Mobile.
About the release date of the smartphone and its price the manufacturer did not
say anything.
