The ONYX company announced the sale of the new ONYX
BOOX James Cook model on the Russian market. The novelty is equipped with a
6-inch screen E-Ink Carta with side buttons for paging and joystick on the
bottom frame. The reader received a battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh, and
the technology of SNOW Field will allow not to spend energy for a complete
update of the display and at the same time not to leave artifacts.
Inside the "reader" are installed a
dual-core processor with a frequency of 1 GHz, 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of
storage with the ability to expand microSD cards to 32 GB. "On board"
BOOX James Cook - Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which will cope with books and
documents of any formats, including Fb3. The firmware comes with pre-installed
English-Russian and Russian-English dictionaries. If desired, the user can
download additional dictionaries in StarDict format.
ONYX BOOX James Cook in black will be on sale at a
price of 5,490 rubles.
