The Nokia 5 was sold in India today, the
handset will retail for INR 12,500 which is about US$ 195 at the current exchange
rate. HMD Global will also be launching their Nokia 6 in India next week,
although the pricing for this handset has not been announced as yet.
The handset features a 5.2 inch display that has a
High Definition resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels, it also comes with Android
7.1.1 Nougat. The Nokia 5 comes with a Snapdragon 430 processor and has 2GB of
RAM, the handset also comes with 16GB of built in storage. There is also a
microSD card slot for extra storage which takes up to a 128GB card.
The handset has high end cameras on the front and
back. On the rear of the handset there is a 13 megapixel camera and on the
front there is an 8 megapixel camera for Selfies.
