Micromax has joined the wide screen bandwagon. The
company launched the Micromax Canvas Infinity in India, a budget phone with
18:9 screen aspect ratio.
Checking the specs, the Canvas Infinity has a 5.7
inch HD IPS "FullVision" display like LG G6 and LG Q6. It runs with a
64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad core processor paired with Adreno 308, 3 GB
RAM, 32 GB expandable storage, and 2,900 mAh of battery.
Behind, the phone has a 13 MP f/2.0 w/ PDAF main
shooter with LED flash. In front, it appears that this device is also a
selfie-focused device as it has a 16 MP front facing camera w/ softlight flash
and real time bokeh feature. Completing the specs, the phone has WiFi, 4G
VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, fingerprint scanner behind, and boots with Android 7.0
Nougat OS.
The Micromax Canvas Infinity is priced at INR 9999
which is around PHP 8K out of straight conversion. It will be available
exclusively on Amazon India starting September 1. Here in PH, there are
speculations that it could be one of the three phones by Cloudfone from Tinno
Mobile with 18:9 aspect ratio.
