Xiaomi Redmi series is one of the most popular
budget or lower midrange choice not just in China, but more or less anywhere
else. So it makes sense some other manufacturers are trying to emulate the
success and steal some of the spotlight, just like Doogee F7 is trying to do
comparing itself to the Redmi Note 4. But with a little price twist in their
favor.
Both phones are actually remarkably similar
hardware-wise and even in the design can be found many connecting points like
metal body with almost the same weight, 170g for Dooogee and 175g for Xiaomi.
But if you look inside the phones it’s basically identical setup to almost
every detail.
Starting with the 5,5-inch FullHD display, Helio X20
processor, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB of storage, 13 Mpix rear camera, 5 Mpix front
camera, microSD slot, Android 6.0 Marshmallow and fingerprint scanner on the
back. Redmi Note 4 has a bit of an edge with 4100 mAh battery capacity compared
to 3600 mAh in the F7, but it’s still solid and both of course support the fast
charging. Siblings at its best one could say.
Pricing is also quite the same with the retail
price level being put at US$ 189.99, but here comes the Doogee with an ace up
their sleeve.
