At the annual CES 2017 event, Dell announced a range
of products with Windows 10 and new 7th Gen Intel Core processors. The
portfolio includes Dell Canvas, Dell XPS 13 2-in-1, Latitude 5285 2-in-1, Dell
XPS 27 AIO and much more.
The Dell Canvas sports a 27-inch (2560×1440 pixels)
QHD Adobe RGB display with anti-glare Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. It
also supports 20 point touch and includes Dell Canvas Pen for drawing on the
surface. The Dell Canvas also supports software solutions including Adobe,
Autodesk, AVID, Dassault Systems, and SolidWorks. It will be available for sale
starting from March 2017 under US$ 2000.
The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 offers a 360-degree hinge to
use it in multiple positions with 15 hours of battery life. Talking about the
display, it is available in two variants — 3.3-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels)
InfinityEdge display or 13.3-inch QHD+ (3200×1800 pixels) InfinityEdge touch
display. This refreshed series comes with 7th Gen Intel Core processor, with
Intel HD Graphics 620 GPU under the hood. Talking about the availability, the
Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 will be available exclusively on Dell.com and at Best Buy
starting at US$ 999.99 from January.
The Dell XPS 15 comes in two variants in terms of
display — 15.6-inch Full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) InfinityEdge or UltraSharp Ultra
HD (3840×2160 pixels) InfinityEdge touch displays. Moreover, it is powered by a
7th Gen Intel Core processors, along with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, which can be
configured up to 16GB and 32GB.
In addition to Intel HD Graphics 630, it also has a
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 100 graphics card with 4GB of GDDR5 video RAM. As far as
storage concern it is available in 500GB HDD+32GB Flash, or a 1TB HDD+32GB
Flash or 256GB, 512GB or 1TB SSD. The XPS 15 also has a fingerprint reader for
password-free logins via Windows Hello. While the availability isn’t out, the
XPS 15 notebook will retail at US$ 999.99.
Dell offers two variants on the XPS 27 AIO in terms
of the display — 27-inch UltraSharp 4K UHD (3840×2160 pixels) touch display or
UltraSharp 4K UHD (3840×2160 pixels) InfinityEdge display. Powered by Windows
10, the AIO is available in 6th Gen Core i5 processor and 6th gen Core i7
processor with Intel HD Graphics 530. The Dell XPS 27 AIO will be available
starting from January at US$ 1,499.99.
Under the Latitude series, the company has two new
detachable laptops — 5285/7285. Both sports a 12.3-inch display with different
resolutions. While the Latitude 5825 offers 1920 x 1280 resolution, the 7285
comes with a 2880 x 1920 resolution.
Both the laptops come powered by a 7th-generation
Intel Core processor under the hood. Talking about the security, it features
Trusted Platform Module 2.0 chip, Control Vault 2.0 advanced authentication,
and optional hardware like a SmartCard reader, a fingerprint reader and much
more.
On the other hand, Dell also launched Latitude 7280
and Latitude 7480 laptops with 12.5-inch and 14-inch respectively. These
laptops are available in different variants in terms of resolutions and
storage.
Both the laptops are powered by a 7th Gen Intel Core
vPro processor along with Intel Graphics under the hood. Also, it is available
in Windows 10, Ubuntu and NeoKylin platforms as well. This laptop also equips
Trusted Platform Module 2.0 chip, Control Vault 2.0 advanced authentication,
and optional hardware like a SmartCard reader, a fingerprint reader and much
more.
