We heard yesterday that the new Asus ZenFone AR was
up for pre-order on Verizon and now Amazon are offering the handset in the US.
The Asus ZenFone AR is listed on Amazon for US$ 600 for
the 6GB of RAM model with 64GB of storage and US$ 700 for the 8GB of RAM model
with 128GB of storage.
The handset supports Google Tango and also Google
Daydream and it comes with a 5.7 inch display that has a QHD resolution of 2560
x 1440 pixels, it is powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor. The device comes with
a microSD card slot for extra storage.
Other specifications on the Asus ZenFone AR include
a a 23 megapixel rear camera plus a motion tracking and depth sensing rear
camera. On the front of the handset there is an 8 megapixel camera for Selfies
and video calls.
