Acer at the IFA 2017 introduced two new 360-degree
cameras powered by Snapdragon 625 and have 4G LTE support. The Acer Holo360 has
a 3-inch touchscreen and lets you
livestream 360-degree video, thanks to dual 16-megapixel lenses with ony
IMX298 sensor. It runs on Android 7.1 and lets you share 360-degree photos and
videos directly to social networks and also preview them on the device.
The Acer Vision360 cloud-connected in-car camera has
two ultra-high quality cameras working together to provide 360-degree coverage
and offers 4K-quality video. “When an
object collides with the vehicle when it is in motion; the device will trigger
a recording that includes GPS coordinates of where the incident occurred, which
is not only saved in a secure area on the device’s internal storage, but also
uploaded to the cloud for evidence preservation,” said Acer.
The Acer Holo360 will be available in North America
in November at US$ 429 and come with water-resistant case. In
EMEA region it will be available in Q4 2017 starting at 349 Euros. No details about the price or available for the Acer Vision360 yet.
