Uhans have released details of a new handset that
will launch fairly soon, that could rival the popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The
Uhans Note 4 has come as quite a surprise today, the phone appears very well
designed and comes with all the features that users have come to expect from a
well-equipped mid-range Android handset.
Uhans have concentrated on the design of the phone,
but also completed a lot of research to ensure a quality phone with
long-lasting battery life. From the outside, the Uhans Note 4 is quite
difficult to distinguish from the Redmi Note 4. Both feature high gloss CNC
finished alloy chassis, and both come with a rear fingerprint scanner, and dual
LED flash. Other than the different branding, one difference between the Uhans
and Redmi is the location of the volume and power buttons.
Unsurprisingly the display is a 5.5-inch HD IPS
panel with 2.5D curved edited and is fully laminated to offer durability. A
Mediatek MT6737 chipset running at 1.3Ghz comes on the Uhans Note 4 rather than
the Snapdragon 625 that comes on the Xiaomi. The Uhans also has 3GB RAM, 32GB
internal memory and space for 128GB SD cards.
While the Xiaomi comes with MIUI it’s Android
version is just Android 6.0 where as Uhans is shipping its Note 4 with a stock
Android 7.0 Nougat operating system for smooth and effective daily use. Uhans’
phone has a slightly smaller 4000 mAh battery compared to the Xiaomi, but still
promise to offer extremely long life with Uhans’ own testing seeing their phone
last a day and a half on a single charge. Externally the rear camera is a 13
megapixel with F2.0 aperture while the front is a 5 megapixel cameras wit all
the usual face recognition and beautification features.
At this stage we don’t what price Uhans is among at
but we’re fairly certain that the Note 4 will be less than US$ 170 once it goes on
sale later in the year. At the time of writing the only official details on
this excellent looking phone on the official Uhans website are simple renders
of the phone in green, cream and black.
