Rumors about Nokia’s upcoming high-end device, the
Nokia 8, have picked up pace in the last few weeks. It was first leaked as
Nokia 9, but later reports pointed out that it will come with the Nokia 8
moniker when it launches.
Recently, the image of the unannounced Nokia 8
popped up on the company’s Chinese website giving us a glimpse of the handset
we already know so much about.
It could be a mistake from the webmaster’s end as
HMD Global has not officially announced the handset, but there’s a possibility
that we may get to see the handset very soon. We’ve known almost everything
there is about the handset, so the only thing left for the company is to
announce an official availability date along with the pricing and the markets
where it will go on sale.
Rumors suggest the handset will come with a 5.3-inch
QHD display with a Snapdragon 835 processor, 13MP Zeiss branded dual-camera
setup, 4/6GB of RAM and Android 7.1.1 Nougat as its operating system out of the
box.
We’ll update you as soon as the handset is
officially announced by the company.
