According to a tweet from tipster Evan Blass, the
name of the upcoming mini version of the LG G6 will be the LG Q6. We first
heard about this variant of the latest LG flagship back in April. Speculation
calls for a 5.4-inch screen with a screen-to-body ratio just under 80%. The
aspect ratio will remain at 18:9. Blass says that the phone will offer 3GB of
RAM and will sport a single 13MP camera on back.
If the leaked specs are correct, it shows you how
far we've come that a 5.4-inch screen would be featured on a "mini"
handset. Back in 2010-2011, phones like the Motorola DROID X and HTC HD2
carried 4.3-inch displays that seemed massive at the time.
The tweet from Blass reveals that the LG Q6 recently
passed through the FCC as model number M700.
