At the third annual Lenovo Tech World innovation
summit the company introduced concept devices enabled for AI. This includes
CAVA contextual aware virtual assistant, daystAR headset, a standalone vision
processing unit, SmartVest world’s first 12-lead medical-grade wireless smart
ECG wear, Xiaole, a better customer service platform and SmartCast+, an
intelligent, interactive speaker with projection, object recognition and AR
interaction.
Lenovo Research officially launched its Artificial
Intelligence Lab in March, which includes more than 100 researchers across the
globe. daystAR is an optical display that has free-formed surface lenses with a
40-degree field of view and comes with an independent vision processing
unit.
Using the Lenovo AR Platform
developers can use daystAR to create applications like Cloud Object
Recognition, Remote Assistance, Multiplayer Interaction, and 3D Content Manager
across a variety of industries. It lets you can scan, upload, and edit 3D
content through the platform.
As usual Lenovo did not say when these concept
devices will be transformed into a consumer product.
