Asus is timidly unveiling its new lineup of
smartphones, the ZenFone 4. Four or five new ZenFone 4 handsets are expected to
be revealed in the coming weeks, although one of them was announced early this
month.
The ZenFone 4 Max was officially introduced in
Russia, but aside from the US$ 235 price, nothing else has been confirmed about
the smartphone's availability outside this country.
Four other Asus smartphones are supposed to make
their debut on the market as early as August: Asus ZenFone 4, Asus ZenFone 4
Pro, Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie, and Asus ZenFone 4V. The latter is likely to hit
the shelves in Europe in September, but the ZenFone 4V might be launched in
other regions initially.
In any case, it looks like we're very close to an
official announcement, as Asus recently teased the ZenFone 4 series. The images
published by Asus suggest at least one of the ZenFone 4 series phone will
feature dual-camera setup.
It's also worth noting that some of the ZenFone 4
phones will probably be picked up by specific carriers with different names.
But we'll most likely learn more on August 17, as rumors suggest.
