The new Asus Zenbo home robot which was first
unveiled more than 12 months ago has now been spotted making its way through
the FCC, indicating that it may not be too long before the home robot makes it
to the US.
The documentation available at the FCC provides more
details on its internal workings together with specifications revealing that
the small robot is powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8550 Cherry Trail processor and
features 4GB of RAM and either 32GB of 128GB of storage.
The Asus Zenbo is also fitted with a 10.1 inch WXGA
multitouch display which the robot uses as its face and usescan tap to access
system settings and menus. The Zenbo robot is currently available to
preorder in Taiwan, but no details of availability throughout America have been
announced as yet by Asus, as always we will keep you up-to-date as more
information is made available by Asus. For plenty more photos of the internal
