At Computex 2017, Zotac have unveiled a new
external graphics dock they have created which comes equipped with a
Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gb/s) interface, perfect to connect to notebooks that need a
little more graphics processing power when playing games or video editing.
The Zotac external graphics dock is fitted with a
400W power-supply and two 6+2-pin PCIe connectors allowing you to insert
high-end single GPU graphics cards up to 22 cm (9-inch) in length.
At the exhibition Zotac was demonstrating the
external graphic stock using a previously unveiled Zotac GTX 1080 Ti Mini.
Other features include a downstream Thunderbolt 3 port, 4 x USB 3.0 ports,
including a quick-charge (2,000 mA) port. Unfortunately no information on
pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet Zotac, but as soon
as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
