Xiaomi has unveiled the
second generation of the Mi Max, and we're already getting treated to more
rumors about another upcoming Xiaomi device, the Mi Note 3. We've heard some
saucy gossip about that one, namely the promise that it's going to be a serious
powerhouse with a Snapdragon 835 chipset, 8GB of RAM, a 4,070 mAh display, and
up to 256GB of storage.
Well, nothing has changed as these
previously-rumored specs are still on the table, but we can now match them with
a render of the handset. It leaked out in the blogosphere just recently,
hinting that the Mi Note 3 will be quite similar to Xiaomi's flagship, the Mi
6, in terms of design and features.
We see a dual-curved screen, a physical home button
at the front, and a dual-camera setup at the back. Supposedly, Xiaomi will once
again employ two 12MP snappers, with one of these having a longer focal length
that will allow for more pleasing portrait shots.
