Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy S8 and its larger
sibling S8+ has broken all records of pre-order with the company revealing its
two smartphones were on track to be the company’s “most successful launch ever”.
And it’s not really a surprise considering the firepower both the flagship
devices pack along with the almost all-screen front end which makes all other
flagship smartphones look dull and dated. But what if you want to buy one and
want your S8 to be exclusive? UK Luxury customizing brand, Truly Exquisite
announced the release of the world’s first luxury plated Samsung Galaxy S8
& S8+ smartphones.
Truly Exquisite is not new to giving luxury
make-over to flagship devices and was also the first company to offer the
Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge in luxury plated precious metal finishes. Both
the regular Galaxy S8 and the larger S8+ come with three options for their
aluminum frames: 24K Gold, 24K Platinum or 18K Rose Gold. The 24K Gold Galaxy
S8 is the cheapest of them all with a price-tag of £ 2,250 (US$ 3810 approx.). The
Platinum version is slightly more expensive with a price of £ 2,350 (US$ 2935)
while the Rose Gold will set you back £ 2,300 (US$ 2875). The Galaxy S8+ variant
with the corresponding finishes are £ 100 (US$ 125 approx.) more expensive.
In that price is included £ 600 (US$ 750) worth of
additional extras including a Samsung Gear VR and wireless charging pad, along
with a 24K Gold Power Bank Charger and Luxury Leather Card Holder all to be
presented in a Luxury Wooden Display Box. The company has already started
taking pre-orders for the phones.
