The Galaxy C-series by Samsung are limited to China,
but one device inevitably gathers more interest than usual. The Galaxy C10 is
expected to be launched in Q3 2017 and become the first Samsung smartphone with
dual camera. Better yet, we got to learn its specs and pricing ahead of the
actual announcement.
Asia Business Daily reports that Samsung China is
already testing the Galaxy C10. It will be powered by Snapdragon 660 chipset
and will be coupled with 6 GB RAM. Sources say that if there are not enough
Qualcomm chipsets on time, the SoC might be Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7872 with
six CPU cores.
Some rumors say the Galaxy C10 dual camera might be
wide-angle + telephoto lens, although that's yet to be confirmed. The display
of the device will be 6” with Full HD resolution. The storage options are two -
64 GB or 128 GB. Galaxy C10 will have a 4,000 mAh non-removable battery. The
phone could also arrive with Bixby button, according to latest leaks and
renders.
The starting price of the 64 GB version will be
CNY 3,499 or about US$ 515.
