HTC has launched the U11 in India. Only one variant
is being launched in India, with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and it is priced at
INR 51,990 (US$ 807).
The HTC U11 is the current HTC flagship and uses the
brilliant liquid glass surface design as well as the new squeeze gesture that
lets you press on the side of the phone to activate certain functions. It also
has a 5.5-inch QHD display, the latest Snapdragon 835 processor and a 12
megapixel UltraPixel camera on the back, which is currently the highest rated
among smartphones by DxOMark. The phone also comes with a pair of active noise
cancelling USonic Adaptive earphones, that should hopefully makeup for the lack
of headphone jack for most people. All of this is powered by a 3000 mAh battery.
The U11 will be available in India by the end of
June, with pre-orders starting tomorrow.
