Photographers searching for a simple way to
wirelessly control both aperture and
focus on their photographic hardware may be interested in a new wireless follow
focus system which offers a 1000m range and has been created by a development
team based in Germany.
Follow X offers wireless control over focus and
aperture and has this week launched via Kickstarter to raise the € 50,000 the
team requires to take their concept into production.
The Focus Drive is a remotely digital driven motor
mounting with the fitting lens-gear to the camera-lens. You control it by
swiveling the rotating-knob on the transmitter. In this mode you can easily set
the focus-point of the camera on whatever you want.
A special focus-mode is the Automatic Focus-Mode. If
you have some focus points you want to repeat in any scenery you can program it
simple with the rotating-knob and store the focus points by pushing a button.
Then you switch to the Automatic Focus-Mode and push the buttons again.
Magically the focus-drive moves the focus of the Lens to your stored
focuspoints. During this automatic movement you can change the velocity by
rotating the knob on the transmitter. In this case you can switch between the
focus points quick or slow depending on your scenery.

camera control system which has been created by EagleLive Systems based in
