Chuwi has introduced Chuwi SurBook tablet worth US$ 300. The model features a processor
from Intel, 10,000 mAh battery and a 12.3-inch screen with a
resolution of 2736x1824 pixels.
Chuwi SurBook is positioned as the optimal solution
for entertainment and comfortable work, which combines mobility and
productivity. The model received a quad-core Intel Celeron N3450 with a clock
speed of 2.2 GHz and runs under Microsoft Windows 10. As the developers
themselves note, the Apollo Lake processor, released in late 2016, is an ideal
choice for 2-in-1 devices. For example, in comparison with Cherry Trail, the
productivity index increased by 30%.
The novelty in the metal case was equipped with 6 GB
of operative and 64/128 GB of internal memory, 5-megapixel main and 2-megapixel
front cameras. The battery capacity of 10,000 mAh provides about 8 hours of the
tablet without the need for recharging. Chuwi SurBook received USB Type-C port,
two USB 3.0 ports, built-in microphone, 3.5 mm audio jack, microSDXC card slot
and stylus support. Dimensions of the tablet are 297.8 x 203.3 x 9.4 mm, and
weight - 967 g.
With a removable keyboard and an adjustable stand
with a 125-degree fixation, it's easy to travel with the Chuwi SurBook tablet,
which is especially true during business trips. The keyboard in black and
violet has received backlighting, which simplifies text input at low light
levels or its absence.
The retail price of Chuwi SurBook is US$ 473 for the
version with 64 GB of ROM and US$ 498 for the model with 128 GB of ROM. The
novelty will go on sale in July this year. Meanwhile, on the Indiegogo site,
you can get a discount and buy a tablet at US$ 299, while the price does not
include a stylus and keyboard. A complete set with a discount will cost
customers $ 349 for the version with 64 GB of storage and US$ 399 for the model
with 128 GB of internal memory.
