ASUS has introduced the ultrabook VivoBook S15. This model
attracted everyone's attention due to the fact that the manufacturer
transferred to a relatively inexpensive model of "chips" of more
expensive notebooks of the ZenBook line. So, VivoBook S15 with a 15.6-inch
display is made in a thin all-metal package with a thickness of 17.9 mm and a
weight of 1.5 kg. Despite such a modest size and low cost, ASUS offers a rather
high-performance "stuffing" in the VivoBook S15.
The ASUS VivoBook S15 has a 15.6-inch display with
Full HD resolution. The thickness of the side frames is only 7.8 mm, so that
the screen occupies 80% of the area of the entire top cover. Under the screen
is an island-type keyboard with a backlight and a touchpad with a fingerprint
scanner.
