Adam Curry has created a new piece of audio hardware
which is being created for those of you that create podcasts and is aptly named
the Podcast Pro.
The Podcast Pro brings Mic Preamps, EQ, Compressor,
Noise-gate, Mix-minus, and Voice Processing in a single USB device about the
size of a hardcover book.
Specifications include:

- 1x stereo skype/ voip USB input
- 1x stereo computer/soundboard USB input
- 4 Output channels
- 1x stereo Mix Minus for Skype via USB
- 1x stereo Main via USB
- 1x stereo Main analog out
- 2x headphones with independent volume controls
- 4x independent noise gates
- 5x compressors/limiters
- 2x A class preamps
- 5x independent EQs
- 2x cough switches
If all goes well the
first audio devices are expected to start shipping during December 2017.
