We have some details on the Microsoft HomeHub,
which the company will use to take on Amazon Echo devices.
According to a recent report from The Verge, the
Microsoft HomeHub is designed to create a family environment for a PC and it
will offer shared access to things like calendars, apps and more. The Verge
have received some concept images of how the Microsoft HomeHub will loo and
work, it woll feature a welcome screen that is always on.
The Microsoft HomeHub will support Cortana voice
commands and this can be used for a wide range of features which will including
voice search, making calls and video calls and more. This new feature will
apparently be added to Windows 10 later in the year, the HomeHub will be added
to the OS in the September software update, this will allow anyone to turn a
Windows 10 PC into a Microsoft HomeHub.
We are expecting to find out more details about the
new Microsoft HomeHub later this month, the company is holding a special event
in Shanghai on the 23rd of May.
