Gionee’s newest smartphone has been confirmed to get
4 cameras! We’ve seen tons of phones
with dual rear cameras, and we’ve seen a couple of phones that have dual front
cameras, but there are very very few phones that have both dual front and dual
rear camera sensors.
Spied by Chinese media over on TENAA, the
Gionee S10 has the look of an iPhone 7 Plus to the rear, including the way the
rear cameras are orientated, while the front of the phone looks a lot like the
Vivo V5 Plus, with a physical home button.
The full specifications of the phone
aren’t clear, but it’s likely that the Gionee S10 will use sensors of a similar
rating to offer a good depth of field and, perhaps, be dedicated to colour and
B&W photography as we have seen on Huawei phones.
In addition to the Gionee S10 there will also be a
Gionee S10C which has a similar design but just a single cameras front and
rear. Specs for the S10C also reveal the phone will have a 1.4 Ghz chipset, 4GB
RAM, micro SD card support and will finally see Amigo OS updated to Android
7.1.
