ASUS has this week unveiled a new affordable gaming
monitor it has created which is fitted with a 27 inch gaming grade display
offering users a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The ASUS VG275Q gaming monitor offers a 1 ms
response time, 75 Hz refresh-rate, game-type display presets, and supports AMD
FreeSync technology to improve your gaming immersion.
Other features include 170°/160° (H/V) viewing
angles, 300 cd/m² maximum brightness, rheostatic (non-PWM) method of
controlling LED brightness, blue-light reduction, and a maximum power draw of
just 40W.
Inputs on the ASUS VG275Q include one DisplayPort
1.2a (needed for FreeSync), two HDMI 1.4a, and D-Sub. Although no details on
pricing have been officially announced by ASUS is expected to price the gaming
monitor for around US$ 300.
