Ahead of Computex 2017 in Taiwan, Acer announced its
latest convertible notebook dubbed as Spin 1 powered by Windows 10. This
lightweight notebook supports Windows Ink through an Acer Active Stylus as well
on the go.
The Acer Active Stylus
allows the user to write directly on the screen providing a natural
pen-on-paper experience. The Acer Spin 1 sports an 11.6-inch Full HD
(1920×1080) IPS touch-enabled display. To reduce eye strain, the company has
implemented ‘Acer Bluelight Shield’ as well. It is powered by Intel Pentium or
Intel Celeron processors with 4GB DDR3L RAM as well as a choice of 32/64/128GB
eMMC storage under the hood.
For an immersive sound experience, this notebook has
Acer Trueharmony technology on both sides of the device providing optimal sound
in any mode and even when paired with the camera. Talking about the
connectivity options, the Acer Spin 1 comes with Bluetooth 4.0, one USB 3.1
port, one USB 2.0 port, one HDMI port and one microSD (SDXC) card slot.
The Acer Spin 1 will be initially available in North
America starting from July at starting price of US$ 329 and
EMEA in July at starting price at € 399. Anyhow, the exact
specifications, prices, and availability will vary by region.
