Chinese phone maker UMi Digi have just officially
unveiled the details of a new mid-range smartphone that they have named the UMi
Digi C Note. The new smartphone stands out from the crowd as it boasts a full
metal unibody build and comes with Android 7.0 installed out of the box.
UMi Digi have given the C Note a 5.5-inch 1920 x
1080 FHD display from Start and stylish 2.5D curve edge. The larger screen sits
in a phone measuring 154.7 x 76.6 x 8.3 mm leaving enough room for Umi Digi
engineers to fit a large 3800 mAh battery inside too.
Hardware highlights include a Mediatel MT6737T
chipset, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and micro SD card storage expansion bay.
A 5 megapixel GCv005 camera sits up front while Samsung’s S5K3L8 13 megapixel
sensor takes care of the main camera duties.
Eagle eyed readers will have already noticed that
the UMi Digi C Note has is not a dual camera phone, although the design does
look like other dual camera phones on the market.
Final stand out details are a fingerprint scanner,
fast battery charging and a rather attractive retail price of only US$ 139.99. Pre-sales for the phone are likely to start soon.
