Dell has announced a new addition to its range of
mini PCs with the unveiling of the smallest, lightest and most powerful
entry-level Wyse 3040 Thin Client mini PC, which has been specifically designed
to provide performance and manageability for “task and basic productivity
users”.
The Wyse 3040 is the first Dell entry-level thin
client to be powered by an Intel Atom X5 1.44 GHz quad-core processor that
supports up to 2GB DDR3 RAM and 8GB flash.
Offering 30 percent better performance than previous
generations and perfect for light multimedia use and local application activity
says Dell. The Wyse 3040 thin client with Wyse ThinOS is now available
worldwide priced at US$ 329.
