Asus Philippines has announced the availability of
the VivoStick pocket-sized PC, a device with the ability to turn
any HDMI display into a PC or smart TV. The Asus
VivoStick is a compact plug and play PC equipped with decent Intel Atom chipset
paired with ample 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage.
Even on a small package, this machine has a WiFi
802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, USB 3.0, USB
2.0, and HDMI port for connectivity. There's even an 3.5 mm audio slot for your
favorite headphones or speakers.
This space-saving PC has an
internal cooling fan to prevent overheating. It has a power button and measures
at just 135 x 36 x 16.5 mm. A slim and sleek portable machine for wireless home
entertainment
The VivoStick also has the ability to cast content
to a larger screen with the use of ASUS HyStream app. It'll enable you to have
the ability to mirror FHD movies, videos, and other photos stored on Android or
iOS devices or PC to a HDMI-enabled TV.
The VivoStick also has the VivoRemote that gives
users a wireless keyboard and mosue features for shortcuts and easy controls.
Apart from the full PC experience, the VivoStick can be plug into a projector
for presentations and attach to a TV to watch YouTube, Netflix, or Amazon
Prime.
