The creators of the
Stark watch assure that their "smart" watches do not need to be
charged at all.
Stark can be attributed to hybrid smart watches.
They do not allow users to install special applications, but they can help
monitor physical activity, monitor sleep quality, receive notifications, etc. It's enough to synchronize your watch with a mobile device on the
iOS or Android platform via Bluetooth, using a special application.
The watches themselves have a classic round design,
are not afraid of water and have standard fasteners for straps and bracelets
with a width of 22 mm. As for autonomy, it's really not necessary to charge
Stark. The clock itself runs on a L626 battery, which should last about two
years. In this case, the "smart" part of Stark is powered by another
source - the CR2032 battery. The last will have to
be changed about once every four months.
At the moment, the authors of Stark watches are
collecting funds for Kickstarter to launch their gadget in batch production.
Before the end of the campaign there are still three weeks, but already now we
can say that it ended successfully. Instead of the necessary US$ 20,000, the
authors managed to collect more than US$ 100,000. At the same time, everyone can
still pre-order the novelty for US$ 60.
