Philips has introduced a new smartphone for the
Russian market, the Philips Xenium X588.
This
smartphone is made out of metal, it comes with on-screen buttons, and its
fingerprint scanner is placed on the back. The Philips Xenium X588 sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x
720) display, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage
(expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card). This smartphone is fueled by the
MediaTek MT6750 64-bit octa-core processor, along with the Mali-T860MP2 GPU. A
13-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of the Philips Xenium X588, while a
5-megapixel camera can be found on the front side of this smartphone.

6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the Philips Xenium X588, and a 5,000 mAh
battery is also a part of this package, and it is not removable. The Philips
Xenium X588 offers an IR sensor as well, while the device measures 144.2 x 71.9
x 9.3 mm, and weighs 168 grams. We still don’t know how much will this phone
cost in Russia, but it will be quite affordable.
