HTC launched recently a new USB Type-C powerbank
aimed at heavy duty users, who want a solid energy source when in need. This
new gadget comes with 10.050 mAh capacity and it’s expected to be available in
Taiwan with a price tag of US$ 65 for presale.
If the price sounds a bit on the expensive side to
some of you, take into account that it has QuickCharge 3.0 certification but
this should be considered as a plus and not as a reason not to buy it. HTC’s
new power bank will be available in White and Black color options and along
with it, HTC offers a USB Type-A to USB Type-C charging cable.
One of its most impressive features is the two-way
fast charging capability that allows for quick recharge from another compatible
source – and at the same time- the ability to quick charge every compatible
gadget. This new powerbank comes with one USB Type-C port for input and one
regular USB Type-A port for output. For input it accepts 5V/2A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A
standards and for output, it offers 5-6V/3A, 6-9V/2A, and 9-12V/1.5A fast
charging.
It has four
LED lights on its side, to inform us with the remaining battery levels, it
measures 103.5 x 60.9 x 22.8 mm and weighs 182.5 grams.
