HOMTOM have just launched a new budget friendly
device, i.e. the HOMTOM HT30. The phone obviously packs lower tier specs but it
still features a premium look and a nicely textured anti-slip back cover.
The HOMTOM HT30 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display and
2.D glass coating on top, turning to the other side, we find the aforementioned
fluff paint back cover which will give it a skin-like coating. This should feel
quite soft in the hands, as well as making it smooth and comfortable to hold.
The phone is available in three colors: white, black
and dark blue. HOMTOM have gone as far as giving a different color to the
camera rim instead of the ordinary sliver metal. Specifically it’ll be blue in
the white version of the phone and red in the black and dark blue variants.
Since we’re talking about aesthetics, it’s also nice to know the phone will be
only 7.9 mm in the thinnest part.
The HOMTOM HT30 sports a 0.2s fast fingerprint
scanner thanks to the high quality sensor provided by GOODIX. This sensor
should also improve the recognition rate and have an higher sensitivity to
increase its reliability.
The HT30 will go on presale starting March 1st
(tomorrow) up until March 8th. The phone will set you back US$ 59.99 (available on
Gearbest, Coolicool, Geekbuying, Tinydeals and Lightinthebox.)
