Geotel as a brand is still quite a fledgling one, at
least in the “own-device” business, because as ODM/OEM manufacturer they are
successfuly around since 2011. But in the end of 2016 they went through with
their own model and the rugged Geotel A1 wasn’t bad at all. And now the more
conventional Geotel Note is coming to the masses.
They are trying to market is as a device for gamers
and heavy users, but that’s a bit misguided, because behind the fancy facade
it’s still a bit of a value device. But surely an interesting one with a new
classy finish of the chassis called MetalPrint and Phantom Navy and Dignity
Gold colors.
Aside from the looks the phone has a 5,5-inch HD
resolution display using something called TruView technology, which should
theoretically bring better saturation. And inside ticks the MT6737 chipset with
3 GB RAM, 16 GB of storage, 13 Mpix rear camera with 5P lens and f/2.0
aperture, 8 Mpix front selfie cam, 3200 mAh battery and Android 6.0.
You can find more about the new phone on the
official website and the pricing seems very reasonable for the initial period,
because you can get it for just US$ 89.99.
