BQ introduced new smartphones Aquaris X and Aquaris
X Pro, which will go on sale in Russia at the beginning of the coming summer. The main "chips" of new products -
a proprietary camera application, multiprocessor image processing and instant
snapshots using ZSL. By combining these solutions, the developers managed to
achieve sharpening, reduce noise and improve the quality of photos created with
insufficient illumination.
The Aquaris X has a Sony IMX298 sensor, whereas the
Aquaris X Pro received a Samsung S5K2L7 sensor, designed for shooting in low
light conditions. Thanks to a combination of a 12-megapixel matrix with Dual
Pixel technology, a minimum aperture of f / 1.8 and a pixel size of 1.4 μm, the
sensor captures 33% more light. The Dual PhotoDiode system provides focus
stability and high accuracy of exposure metering. Both cameras include options
like a two-tone flash, 4K video recording, Vidhance video stabilizer, slow
motion mode, panoramic shooting mode and manual mode with a lot of settings.
The front camera is equipped with a Sony IMX219 sensor with a resolution of 8
megapixels and a front flash. The Selfie Indicator function allows you to
easily and quickly do selfies.
Both smartphones are equipped with an all-metal
frame, but the back side materials are different: the Aquaris X Pro has a
2.5D-glass, while the Aquaris X, continuing the tradition of BQ, uses the
coating of the Swedish manufacturer of professional paint materials Beckers. In
both models, the fingerprint sensor is located on the back of the smartphone
and does not have any additional protrusions. Rounded on the edges of the
screen smoothly flows into the body of the smartphone, without disturbing the
geometry of the case thanks to 2.5D-glass.
The 5.2-inch Full HD display with Quantum Color +
technology, more than 16.5 million colors and a brightness of up to 650 nits
provides a positive impression of using a smartphone. The new line is equipped
with a battery for 3 100 mAh and supports the Quick Charge 3.0 quick charge
function via the USB Type-C connector. The eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626
processor with 2.2 GHz clock consumes 68% less power compared to other
processors in this segment. Smartphones use a graphics processor Qualcomm
Adreno 506, 3 GB of RAM in Aquaris X and 4 GB in Aquaris X Pro. Smartphones
will go on sale with the latest version of the "clean" version of Android
7.1.1.
Thanks to the amplifier TFA9896 NXP and ESS9118, the
sound from the speakers and headphones is very detailed. Moreover, APTx Audio
technology improves the sound quality when transmitting via Bluetooth.
Smartphones are compatible with 4G + networks, as well as NFC, Wi-Fi Dual (2.4
and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, VoWi-Fi and VoLTE. As a navigation system, Galileo,
GPS and GLONASS are used.
The cost of the BQ Aquaris X Pro with 64 GB of
memory is 23,990 rubles, and from 128 GB - 25,990 rubles. Aquaris X will be available
in a version of 32 GB ROM at a price of 18,990 rubles. Smartphones will be
available in June through the network of official BQ partners and a branded
online store.
