BQ Aquaris U Plus features a 5.0-inches IPS A-SI LCD
touchscreen display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution (HD), fits into the
dimensions that measure at 70.5 x 144 x 7.8 mm and weights at 142g.
Its powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 430
MSM8937 octa-core processor, which consists of eight Cortex A53 cores and
Adreno 505 GPU alongside 2GB of RAM memory. The internal storage is 16GB and supports
external storage expansion through microSD card.
This 5.0-inches device has a 16-megapixel Samsung
3P3 camera on the back with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, 5p lens alongside
a 5-megapixel Omnivision OV5675 front-facing camera for both selfie and video
calls.
BQ Aquaris U Plus is compatible with multiple LTE
network bands and supports dual SIM, hence users are able to insert two SIM
cards together. Other key features/specs are USB OTG , 3.5mm audio jack,
multiple sensors, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, as well as a micro USB
port instead of reversible USB Type-C.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow version is the operating
system of BQ Aquaris U Plus. As for the battery, it does come with 3,080 mAh of
battery juice (non-removable). BQ Aquaris U Plus has a fingerprint sensor on
the back panel, right below the camera lens. This Marshmallow flavoured
smartphone is available in black and white colors and costs around EUR 210. There
is another version with 3GB RAM and 32GB of ROM that costs EUR 250.
