Android One S2 features a 5.0-inches touchscreen
display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution (HD). Its powered by Qualcomm’s
64-bit Snapdragon 425 MSM8917 quad-core processor, which consists of four
Cortex A53 cores and Adreno 308 GPU alongside 2GB of RAM memory. The internal
storage is 16GB and supports external storage expansion through microSD card.
This 5.0-inches device has a 13.1-megapixel camera
on the back with LED flash alongside a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for both
selfie and video calls.
Android One S2 is
compatible with multiple LTE network bands and supports dual SIM, hence users
are able to insert two SIM cards together. Other key features/specs are VoLTE,
3.5mm audio jack, multiple sensors, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, as
well as a micro USB port instead of reversible USB Type-C.
Pure Android 7.0 Nougat version is the operating
system of Android One S2. As for the battery, it does come with 2,300 mAh of
battery juice. Android One S2 is complied with IPX5/IPX7 waterproof
standards and IP6X dustproof standard. Furthermore, the device is also up to
military standard of MIL-STD-810G Method 516.7:Shock-Procedure. This Nougat
flavoured smartphone is available in white, midnight blue and red/pink colors
and will launch in the Japanese market in next month. Unfortunately, there is
no pricing yet.
