Zeblaze ZeBand is a very interesting device in the
means that, not only is it a smart wearable with a wide range of applications
from fitness tracking to notification alerts, it is also a fashion addon to the
users style.
The first important highlight of the ZeBand is it’s
design and comfort, because it’s dimensions are just 4.30 x 160 x 1.00 cm and a
weight of just 24 grams makes the user almost forget they are even wearing the
device through the day. The bands of the ZeBand are made from durable and
comfortable rubber which are available in four colors – black, blue, purple,
and green. The bands have various holes set in it to make it easier for users
with all wrist sizes to wear it comfortably.
The main attraction of the whole device is the OLED
Touch panel which is 0.97 inches with a resolution of 160 x 68 pixels. The
device has no physical home buttons to add to the seamless design. When it
comes to the user interface, the developers have made maximum effort to make it
simple and elegant all the while maintaining the maximum quality that aids in
saving battery life.
As for what the ZeBand is able to offer is where it
becomes more impressive. The most important feature is that the band has a
heart rate sensor which is in constant contact with the skin to get an accurate
measurement. In addition the pedometer is constantly being used to accurately
analyze the distance traveled to the steps taken, and also sleep tracking.
Moreover, the IP67 certification means that the band protected from Water and
Dust, which enables the band to have a swim mode, which tracks swimming data.
When connected to a smartphone the band can also
display call and message notifications, with the contact name. It can also
display calendar events and notifications from mobile apps such as Facebook,
Whatsapp or even Twitter. The Battery could possibly be the strongest aspect of
the ZeBand. Zeblaze decided to integrate a 90mAh Li-ion battery. While it does
seem low, it makes up for in the charging and backup times. The ZeBlaze can
charge from zero to full in about an hour and a half and would last an average
of 15 days on a single charge.
The band is compatible with all Android Devices
running Android 4.3 and higher and all iOS devices running iOS 8.0 and higher.
When paired with the official app, the ZeBand uses Bluetooth 4.0 LE to send a
receive data from the band, and also show a more detailed analysis of the data
collected by the band.
