SPC Mobile has launched two new smartphones, the SPC
S12 Mercury and S9 Naptune. Both smartphones are not equipped with 4G LTE, but
they already adopted the Android Marshmallow OS.
We begin with SPC S12 Mercury. This smartphone
carries a 5 inch screen with 854 x 480 pixels FWVGA. The screen has been coated
2.5D Curved Glass Screen and semi clad metal body that makes it look more
luxurious. Available in three colors consisting of Gold, Silver, and Gray. SPC
S12 Mercury rely 1.3 GHz Quad Core Cortex-A7 combined with 1GB Ram and 8GB of
internal memory which can be expanded by adding microSD.
Mercury SPC S12 has a 8 Megapixel rear camera with
LED flash and autofocus features. There are also 5 Megapixel front camera for
selfies and video calls. This smartphone also features Dual Sim and internet
connectivity that rely on Wi-Fi or 3G HSPA. This smartphone price is about IDR
775,000 (US$ 58).
Turning to the SPC S9 Neptune, this smartphone is
priced just around IDR 500,000 (US$ 37). This smartphone only has a 4-inch
screen and 512 MB RAM. SPC S9 rely 1.2 GHz Quad Core Cortex-A7 which runs on
the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The performance is pretty standard, but is more
than enough to run multiple applications and light gaming.
Available only 4GB of internal memory, but can
expand by adding a microSD upto 32GB capacity. 1,500 mAh Battery power has been
embedded in SPC S9 body. Neptune is available in a choice of black and white. About
the camera, the smartphone is equipped with a 2 Megapixel front camera and a
rear 5 Megapixel camera that is equally feature Fixed Focus and LED Flash, so
the picture remains clear and sharp.
