At the end of 2016 we have seen Oukitel releasing a
budget oriented Oukitel C5 Pro model, but seems like they are not done yet with
the cuts and compromises, because there is even lower version planned to be
released with Oukitel C5.
Well the main cut is the most important one, because the quad-core
MT6737 is replaced by quad-core MT6580 meaning the missing 4G network support.
At least the new Oukitel C5 will have the Android
7.0 Nougat opposed to just the Marshmallow build present on C5 Pro, which can
just hope for early March update. Build and design looks exactly the same, so
you can expect C5 to have 5-inch display with HD resolution and 2.5D glass,
aluminum alloy frame and special “printed” texture on the back cover.
Main camera has 8 Mpix resolution (though
interpolated from 5 Mpix), front selfie cam is interpolated too, this time from
2 Mpix to 5 Mpix. The phone is a dual SIM one with an independent microSD card
and the memory setup used is 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of storage.
Oukitel C5 is already listed on the official Oukitel
website so it’s fair to assume and expect that the presales will start by the
end of the month.
