The Moto G5 Plus is expected to feature a 5.5-inch
display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 625 SoC
with an octa-core 2.0 GHz CPU, and the Adreno 506 GPU. A 13MP rear-facing camera
is on board along with a front-facing 5MP shooter to handle video chats and
selfies. What looks like a home button in front is where you will find the
fingerprint scanner. A 3080 mAh battery is on board, and Android 7.0 is
pre-installed.
The Moto G5 Plus features an IP67 certification
rating. This means that the device can be be submerged in up to 3 feet of water
for as long as 30-minutes, and emerge unscathed. The handset is expected to be
made available in Gold and Silver, priced at the equivalent of US$ 387.
We should see the Moto G5 Plus introduced at MWC in
Barcelona on February 26th.
