Meizu made the M5s official today. The
device is powered by an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor running at 1.3 GHz on a
MediaTek MT6753 chipset. It is built around a 5.2-inch IPS display of 720p
resolution.
RAM is 3GB, while internal memory options include
16GB and 32GB (storage is expandable by up to 128GB). The Meizu M5s features a
13MP primary camera with PDAF F/2.2 5-element lens and a dual-tone LED flash.
The front shooter has a 5MP sensor.
The phone draws its power from a 3,000 mAh battery,
which the company claims can be charged from 0 to 19% in 10 minutes. Featuring
a metal body, the handset comes with an mTouch fingerprint scanner, and offers
support for dual-SIM and VoLTE.
Color options for the M5s include black, silver,
gold, and rose gold. Prices are RMB 799 or about US$ 115 for the 16GB version and
RMB 999 or US$ 145 for 32GB of internal storage.
