HP has launched Omen series of gaming laptops and
desktops in India. The new Omen series includes five laptop models, a gaming
desktop, a monitor, a headset, keyboard, mouse and a mousepad. All these
devices will be available starting March 15.
Omen laptops come in 17.3 inch and 15.6 inch screen
sizes. The Omen 15 sports a 15.6-inch WLED-backlit IPS screen with a 1,920 x
1,080 resolution and is powered by GTX 1050 GPU, Intel i7 7700HQ processor. It
has hybrid storage, 1TB Hard drive paired with a 128GB SSD. The laptop comes
with Bang & Olufsen Audio with Dual Speakers and Audio Boost.
The Omen 17 is the VR ready laptop that features a
17.3 inch WLED IPS display which is G-SYNC ready and has a brightness of 300
nits. It is powered by a 8GB NVIDIA 1070 GeForce GTX graphic card & latest
7th gen Intel quad-core i7-7700HQ (3.6 GHz, upto 4.2 GHz & 8 MB cache)
processor. It has 1TB HDD + 256GB SSD hybrid storage and comes with Bang &
Olufsen Audio with Dual Speakers and Audio Boost.
The 15.6 inch display and 17.3 inch display laptops
are available from March 15 starting of price of Rs. 79,990 and Rs. 139,990
respectively. The OMEN Desktop is planned to be available at all
retailers on 15th March at a starting of price of Rs. 139,990 OMEN by HP
Keyboard is priced at Rs. 9,999, Headset at Rs. 7,499, Mouse at Rs.5,499 and
Mouse pad at Rs. 2,199.
