FiiO introduced the third generation Hi-Fi X5 player. Called the X5 III and runs on Android 5.1 with a
proprietary shell, which is responsible for the processing of high-quality
audio. FiiO X5 III borrowed from the flagship X7 opportunity to work in the
modes of Pure Music and Android. The first allows you to open the player
interface without any add-ons, and when downloading Android user can use a
variety of applications. New also offers wireless modules Wi-Fi 2,4 GHz, Bluetooth-enabled
aptX and DLNA function.
FiiO X5 III equipped with two 32-bit DACs AK4490EN
(one per channel) with the support of all PCM- and the DSD-format. The sampling
frequency is 768 kHz. The player produces the sound output of 300 mW at 32 ohms
impedance due ORA426 chip. Connection is carried out not only through the
3.5-mm jack, but also through the balanced output. Built-in memory is 32 GB,
but the two slots for microSD storage would extend to 512 GB.
For gadget food replies battery capacity 3,400 mAh, which
provides up to 10 hours of battery life during playback. Interestingly, the
battery can be charged in the usual way, and at an accelerated rate - it will
take 1.5 hours. Manufacturer Mode added In-Vehicle, which will comfortably use
the player in the car. FiiO X5 III is different and supports connection to a PC
as an external DAC.
Updated FiiO X5 III goes on sale in the Russian
market in March this year.
