The Blade V8 Pro will probably be made official by
ZTE alongside the non-Pro model. Oddly enough, although the two share a name,
they look very different from the back (while still coming with dual rear
cameras). The Blade V8 Pro goes with a vertical dual camera arrangement on a
plastic back, but it does have a metal frame at least.
The phone features a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen with
2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 on top, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset at the helm
(with a 2 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU), 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable
storage, Cat.4 LTE support, 13 MP + 13 MP rear cameras with phase detection
autofocus and 4K video recording, an 8 MP front-facing snapper, and a 3,140 mAh
battery. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Its dimensions are 155.96 x 76.96 x 9.14 mm, and it
weighs 185g. It will be sold in the US for US$ 230, which is a decent price
considering the specs. Compared to the non-Pro Blade V8, this one has a
slightly larger screen, better chipset, and a higher-res secondary rear camera.
On the other hand, its selfie shooter is oddly lower-res than that on the Blade
V8.
